Tangible Self-Compassion Workshop
In partnership with Pathways Forward LLC:
Tangible Self-Compassion Workshop
A one-day mental health workshop to reflect, connect, and re-set.
May 16th, 2026
10:00am-3:30pm
Join us for a full day of exploring self-compassion through experiential activities, group work, and creative art
This Workshop Is For You If:
You struggle with negative or self-deprecating thoughts.
You feel stuck in patterns of self-judgment or perfectionism.
You want practical tools for self-compassion.
You’re curious about healing in connection with others.
You’d like to leave with something meaningful you created yourself.
What to expect:
We will meet in a small, supportive group environment. This therapist-led mental health workshop will guide you through experiential exercises designed to foster safety, connection, and meaningful relating within the group.
These practices are intended to deepen your connection to your body and intuition, offering opportunities to turn toward yourself. Together, we will explore your relationship with your inner critic and practice new ways of inviting self-compassion and inner wisdom when navigating difficult moments in your life.
You will leave with tangible tools to reconnect with inner clarity and kindness, as well as a collage you create during the workshop to help integrate and represent these insights.
“Self-compassion is like a muscle. The more we practice flexing it, especially when life doesn’t go exactly according to plan (a frequent scenario for most of us), the stronger and more resilient our compassion muscle becomes.”
- Sharon Salzberg

Meet your leaders:
Hannah DeWeerd, LPC, LMHC
Hannah’s initial priority as a therapist is creating the safety and familiarity that is crucial to do real work together. She brings a nonjudgmental, open-minded approach to clients and emphasizes the importance of clients feeling secure enough to say anything they need to in the space curated together. Outside of therapy and mental health, she is very passionate about art and creativity. Her approach has an emphasis on self-compassion and becoming in-tune with your emotions and body. Hannah believes that you already have everything inside of you that you need in order to heal, you just need the tools to help you access those parts of yourself.
Zoe Vlastos, MA, LPC
Zoe is a passionate psychotherapist and group facilitator who deeply believes in the resilience of the human spirit. She sees therapy as a co-creative process with her clients and brings curiosity, radical acceptance, and true care to her work. Zoe specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, relationships to body/food/exercise, and anyone wanting to connect more deeply with the essence of who they truly are. She has a background in wilderness therapy, social justice counseling, emotion embodiment and conscious living practices, and eating disorder treatment. When not supporting others on their journeys, she enjoys creating community, traveling, baking muffins and soaking up as much mountain sunshine as possible.
